Snoring is the sound made when air is restricted during breathing whilst sleeping. Studies have shown that snoring affects roughly 30% of us, rising to 60% with age. Here at Parkfield Dental we take the treatment of sleep apnoea and snoring very seriously.

Gum disease, also referred to as gingivitis, occurs when there is inflammation of the tissue surrounding the teeth. Furthermore, it is most commonly caused by poor dental hygiene and its common issue can vary tremendously in severity.
Visiting your dental hygienist on a regular basis is vital to maintain and improving your oral and overall health. In the UK, gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss in adults and studies have shown that frequent visits to the dentist and dental hygienist, can help prevent gum disease and other oral health issues.
