At Parkfield Dental you can be treated by a Ukrainian-speaking dentist. Dr Valeriia Vlasenko qualified as a dentist from Kharkiv National Medical University in Ukraine in 2015. She has over seven years of clinical experience in general dentistry and orthodontics.
After relocating to the UK, Valeriia successfully completed the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) and is now a GDC-registered dentist here at Parkfield Dental.
Valeriia enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to high-quality, patient-centred care. She is known for her gentle approach and takes the time to make sure every patient feels comfortable, informed and confident throughout their treatment.
Fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, Valeriia is committed to making every patient feel at ease by providing clear communication and personalised care in their preferred language whenever possible.

We are a private practice – we do not offer NHS treatment. All consultations begin with a thorough examination so we can understand your needs and recommend the right treatment for you.

A dental check-up at Parkfield includes a full examination of your teeth, gums, and mouth. We also offer hygiene appointments with our dental hygienist to clean your teeth professionally and help prevent gum disease.
Dental implants are the most natural-looking and long-lasting way to replace a missing tooth. At Parkfield, our lead implantologist Dr Arfeen Aslam holds postgraduate Masters and Royal College of Surgeons qualifications. We also have an in-house CBCT scanner for precise 3D diagnosis before any surgery.
Clear aligners are removable, nearly invisible trays that gradually move your teeth into position. We offer both Invisalign and Spark aligners at Parkfield, planned by our experienced clinical team.
From teeth whitening to a full smile makeover, our cosmetic team helps patients achieve the smile they have always wanted. Every plan is designed personally – we never use a one-size approach.

Dr Aslam qualified at King's College London and gained his membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012. He leads implant treatment at Parkfield Dental and is also qualified in advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry. GDC: 156196.

Dr Valeriia Vlasenko is a GDC-registered dentist at Parkfield Dental and one of our Ukrainian-speaking clinicians. Dr Shah qualified at the University of Manchester and holds an MJDF (RCS) and a Masters in Dental Implantology. He focuses on minimally invasive cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including Spark and Invisalign® clear aligners, crowns, bridges and whitening. GDC: 200986
Dentist
Bristol graduate (distinction) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Prosthodontic Dentistry. Particular interests in endodontics, crown and bridgework, and dentures. GDC: 251565.
Dentist
Newcastle graduate and Invisalign provider, currently completing a Master's in endodontics and biomimetic dentistry. Manchester-born and back home for good. GDC: 271658.
Booking at Parkfield Dental is straightforward. You do not need a GP referral, and you do not need to be a registered patient to book a first appointment.
Step 1 – Send us an enquiry. Use the contact form below or call us on 0161 445 2397. Our Ukrainian-speaking dentist, Dr Valeriia Vlasenko, can be in touch to discuss your needs and get you booked in.
Step 2 – Your first appointment. You will come in for a consultation – a full examination of your teeth and mouth. We will discuss any concerns you have and explain your treatment options clearly.
Step 3 – Your treatment plan. After your consultation, you will receive a written treatment plan with a full cost breakdown. There is no obligation to go ahead – you can take your time to decide.
Step 4 – Begin treatment. Once you are happy to proceed, we will book your treatment appointments at times that suit you. Finance options are available if you need them.
