Welcome to Parkfield Dental
Welcome to Parkfield Dental, a general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and dental implant centre based in Didsbury, South Manchester. With over 30 years’ of experience under our belt, here at Parkfield Dental we pride ourselves on our ability to provide the best specialist dental care out there.
Having built a reputation based upon our top quality care, we combine state of the art technology and treatments with a relaxed and welcoming environment. All of our staff want to make your visit as comfortable as they can. Not everybody finds coming to the dentist easy, so we will always listen to you and give you as much time as you need to talk about your dental health, fears, and worries, before we administer any treatment.
All of our treatment rooms are equipped with the latest in dental technology. From CEREC (same day crowns), intra-oral cameras, and instantly processed digital x-rays, to all the most cutting edge dental methods and practices, we make sure that all of our patients have access to the best treatments for their oral health.
Based in Didsbury, we treat patients coming from all over Manchester and Cheshire and from regional destinations such as Birmingham and London. Our treatments are wide-ranging, from general dentistry, dental hygiene treatments, composite bonding, from dental veneers and teeth whitening, to dental implants and bridges. We excel in patient care service, and pride ourselves on the way we treat our patients.
If you’re missing one tooth, several teeth, or suffer from loose teeth, our dental implants could solve your problem. We offer a free initial assessment, after which we examine your teeth in more detail and plan your treatment. Once the implants have been placed, we will fix the crowns, bridges or dentures to the implant.
Our dental implant restorations are more secure than traditional dentures, they look and feel like natural teeth, and they are designed to preserve your facial and jawbone structure. With the right maintenance carried out by our expert dental hygienists, our implants can last for years.
If you’re missing one tooth, a dental implant and a crown will be able to replace it. If you’re in need of a full jaw rehabilitation, we can also offer you ‘same day teeth’, which is a full arch dental bridge that can support up to 4 or 6 implants, commonly known as the all-on-4 or all-on-6 concept.
We provide Invisalign, a treatment that continues to grow in popularity thanks to its near-invisible aligners. Having helped correct over 5 million smiles, Invisalign braces are proven to improve your smile and confidence. Invisalign improves a number of orthodontic issues such as crowded teeth, overbites and crossbite. Patients will swap their aligners roughly every two weeks, and you can change them from home.
Once we’ve gone through everything and confirmed that you’re eligible, we’ll begin the process of taking extensive photos, X-rays and digital scans, or a dental impression of your teeth. You’ll get to see a 3D simulation of your treatment before you even start. You’ll visit us around every 6-8 weeks so that we can monitor your progress and give you your new aligners. Once your treatment is over, we’ll give you the retainers you’ll need so that you can maintain your beautiful new smile.
6 Month Smile has taken the best aspects of traditional braces and made improvements to give you a straighter, healthier smile in only six months. Every brace we make is bespoke, unique to you and your orthodontic needs, achieving the best results, at a much faster rate. Delighting clients of all ages, this revolutionary technique has encouraged them to fix an issue that may have been bothering them for much of their lives.
The 6 Month Smile is a specialised brace system that uses tooth-coloured wires and brackets to create a discreet look that minimises their visibility. Throughout your treatment, you’ll return to the practice so that we can check your progress and tooth movement. We’ll tighten your brace when needed to make sure you stay on track for a fast and simple realignment process!
Dental veneers are the go to solution for those looking for a Hollywood smile! Used by a large number of film and TV personalities, porcelain veneers are a great, cost-effective option for improving chipped or crooked teeth, stained or discoloured teeth, gapped teeth and more.
Dental veneers are wafer-thin shells that your dentist will bond to the surface of your teeth. Matched to your teeth colour, your veneers will help you achieve a more natural smile. Popular among patients, veneers are easily applied while still managing to make a huge improvement to your smile.
The procedure is very simple and the amount of enamel removed is kept to a minimum. Your dentist will make an impression of your teeth and send it over to the dental technician, who will then create your bespoke and natural dental veneers!
Our home whitening kits are perfect for anyone wanting to achieve whiter teeth in the comfort and convenience of their own home, while also having the safety and supervision of our expert dentists. You will need two or three visits to the dentist before they take impressions of your teeth and make you your own unique whitening tray. This is so that your dentist can assess your suitability and make sure that the teeth whitening experience is right for you.
Once you have your tray, your dentist will talk you through the process. The tray is made with soft, clear plastic onto which you will then apply the whitening gel. The active ingredient is usually hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. As oxygen gets into the enamel of your teeth, the colour becomes lighter.
The entire treatment is often completed within two to four weeks. If you feel self-conscious about your discoloured teeth, our teeth whitening kits are an easy and cost-effective way of giving your smile a lift. If you want a brighter, whiter smile then this is the treatment for you.

Here at Parkfield Dental, there’s not much we love more than helping a patient to find their perfect smile. The fact is that not many of us are lucky enough to have been born with a perfect smile. When a patient finishes one of our smile makeover treatment plans with a beautiful smile that they love, we feel like we’ve helped that person achieve something special. Having a smile that you love and are proud of is a wonderful thing. But what exactly is a smile makeover?

Same Day Teeth In Didsbury
Teeth in a day… sound impossible? It’s not! That’s exactly what we offer here at Parkfield Dental - the Same Day Teeth treatment we offer here in Didsbury achieves just that, based on the all-on-4 or all-on-6 concept. Whereas traditional dental implants require between three and six months between placing the dental implant and the final restoration over the implant.
How does our Same Day Teeth treatment work? Well, it involves removing all necessary teeth and placing 4-6 dental implants per arch. We’ll then secure a fixed temporary bridge onto those implants. Then, you’re ready to walk out with a fixed set of teeth the very same day!
That temporary bridge will be replaced with a permanent bridge between 3-6 months afterwards. You’ll need multiple appointments for us to check up on you and make sure that your teeth are safe and healthy. On average you might require 10-15 appointments.
Why Choose Parkfield?
When you come to Parkfield Dental Practice, you’ll get a dental care and service that is completely patient-focussed, and it may well be different to anything you may have experienced before in a dental practice. Our focus is on giving you time: time to speak to us and let us know about all of your dental problems and fears. We prioritise getting to know our patients as more than just clients so that we can form a strong relationship that lasts a lifetime.
